Over the past years, much consideration has been given to sustainability within our society. Sustainability in view of the environment, our social environment, but also in relation to our organisation and the way in which this deals with its external environment. Or, those things which, nowadays, we denote as being Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Animo also supports this thinking and, as far as possible, aims to operate in a sustainable manner.

In terms of our processes, significant attention is paid to the items listed below:

• Saving energy
• Limiting the use of hazardous substances
• The welfare of employees

Consideration is continuously given to quality care, safety, environmental consciousness and the standardisation of our products and processes. A specific service is responsible for this at Animo. Animo is also a member of CSR the Netherlands

Animo prefers to use sustainable materials. Since it was established in 1950, Animo has worked with high-quality stainless steel. This is a raw material that is 100% recyclable!

Additionally, Animo applies energy-saving techniques to numerous products. These vary from a stand-by mode on the coffee machines, to low-energy heating elements underneath the drink containers.
Animo works towards maximum recyclability of its products and is affiliated with the Dutch Association for the Disposal of Metal and Electrical Products (the NVMP), which is responsible for professional dismantlement following many years of useful economic life.

Animo aims for sustainability in terms of organisation. Over the past years, various provisions have been made for personnel as regards safety, the provision of advice & information, training & education and career guidance.
The people at Animo are the company’s most valuable production factor. The people are the ones who develop, produce and sell the product. And Animo takes care of them!
